Parkfield Primary School first opened during the Victorian times, on the 28th June 1864. It has been an all-age school (4 to 13), has had a period as separate infant (5 to 7) and junior (8 to 11) schools and is now a full-range primary school (4 to 11).
Each of its sixteen headteachers has been required to fill in a log book to record significant events that happened under their direction. Looking back, these entries now provide a fascinating insight into the history and development of the school. Click on the links below to find out more:
